Villa Tropica I – A Tropical Modern Oasis

Villa I is a contemporary tropical residence that harmoniously blends modern architectural language with subtle Indonesian heritage influences. This carefully composed home was designed to embody both aesthetic refinement and everyday comfort, tailored for year-round living. The architectural layout is anchored by a rational plan that maximizes spatial use within a compact footprint, integrating indoor and outdoor living. A central enclosed living area seamlessly connects to the kitchen and a generous island, forming a flexible space that opens fully to the poolside deck. This transition blurs the boundary between inside and outside, inviting natural light and tropical air deep into the heart of the home.

The villa comprises three distinct bedrooms, each reflecting a different stylistic narrative, from tropical charm to clean modernism to understated resort luxury. All bedrooms are equipped with walk-in closets, ensuite bathrooms, and bathtubs. A dedicated TV lounge and a spacious upper-level terrace enhance the home’s social and relaxation zones, perfect for enjoying sunset views.A key highlight of the design is the integration of landscape architecture. The garden was envisioned as a lush, multi-sensory oasis that adapts to various moods and uses, from tranquil corners to social gathering spots.

Our studio also curated the villa’s interior design, infusing it with artisanal elements and texture. Custom wooden wall inlays, inspired by traditional Indonesian batik motifs, introduce depth and cultural resonance. The bespoke coffee table in the living area, crafted from natural marble and timber, features intricate inlays that echo the same traditional patterns.Material selection was guided by durability and character: concrete structure, masonry walls, warm timber accents, aluminium framing, natural stones, and expansive glass elements.

The house is articulated across varied levels and volumes, resulting in a dynamic and immersive spatial experience, an urban sanctuary that elevates tropical living.
